Misc pics

Working on his swimming...

Being brave by putting his face in the water...

Loves his bath toy Aunt Kimmy and Uncle Christpher got him for his b-day.

Memorial Day

I know it's past, but I just remembered that we took pics of the kids in the lake on Memorial Day. We were at his parents and they wanted to go in the water although it was only 63 in the water. Kayla was showing him what you can do with mud too as you can see by all of it on his life jacket. Parker wanted to go swimming, but we didn't want them to put their heads under water because of the temp. He loves to swim though and Kayla is doing great at swimming. Despite her fear just last summer. She wants to swim without her lifejacket too. Huge step for her. We are proud of her. They go swimming on Wednesdays for daycare at the high school. She is excited. I'm going to go up there her first time and watch her.

YEAH FOR THE POTTY!!!

This morning I was going to the bathroom and Parker was in there with me. He got in the closet and got out the potty seat and wanted me to get off the toilet. By the time I was finished he had his pj pants off and trying to get his diaper off. I set him up there and was showing him that he needs to push his wee wee down when he goes pee, so of course he was doing it too. So smart. Then he started to push I thought for sure he was just making the noises, but no he wasn't. He went poopy on the potty!!! I couldn't believe it. Of course then he was all excited and clapping because I was just about in tears because I was so excited. I was yelling for Kayla to get the camera. After we got pictures done it was time to get off. He didn't want to. Kayla thought that was funny. So I let him sit there for about 5 minutes and finally got him off. We had to go wake daddy up and tell him. We were all so excited. I think this was more exciting than his first steps because he got the seat by himself and knew what he was doing. He picks up on things so fast these days, it's almost scary. We shall see how long this lasts. I am going to get the potty chair out today. YEAH FOR PARKER!!!!!

17 months

It is sooo amazing how much they change in 17 months. I can't believe it's been almost a year and a half.

Miscellaneous pics

Aunt Kimmy bought some Gatorade! Yummmm

Big belly stuck right out there.....

You can't hear him, but he's learning animal sounds.

The boys are learning to share, but Parker doesn't want to share Papa with Alex.

Parker has had a hard time adjusting and doesn't want me to leave him--EVER. Gets rough at times but we just cuddle and keep him happy. Aunt Kristi figured out what will make him happy so I could take a shower.

Just hanging out!

Day with the kids

Stephanie, Trav and the kids came home for the weekend. Kim was also there on Sunday to celebrate Father's Day with dad. We got him a new weed wip and Parker was helping him put it together. Liv and Alex got a new John Deer tractor and of course Parker had to ride on it, Liv was very willing to take him often.

Update

Sorry I haven't written in awhile. Been busy. We are staying at my parents for a short while until we find another place to live. Brian is working in Charlotte now, so we can find a place close for both of us to drive to work. Both of the kids are going to a new daycare right down the road from my work. Kayla loves it, they are always doing fun things with her age group. Parker on the other hand is not liking it too well yet. He won't eat while he is there (at least he's only there 2 days a week) and is having a hard time adjusting, but alot has been going on lately. Days are getting better for him. He's at work with me today to have some MOMMY time! These pictures are ones that my sisters took last weekend of Parker. Kayla was at her mom's for the weekend.
