Play time

He does very well at keeping himself busy and playing by himself as long as I'm in the room.

Baby doll discovery

Parker has discovered Kayla's baby doll. He loves it and plays with it when she lets him. Here is a pictures of him helping her feed the baby.

Climbing has begun

He loves his slide that he got for his birthday. He is discovering that he can climb up the sides if he puts his feet in the window areas. Here we go...it has begun.

Missing daddy

Brian had left one of his tshirts on the floor and Parker wanted it on. He walked around the house for about a half hour with it on and I had to take a pic of it so Brian could see it. He had a fit when I took it off for him to take a nap. He loves his daddy and misses him bunches!!!

First time in his sled

I know that seems crazy that he is finally going out in the snow, but I can't find my boots anywhere so I had to wait until Brian was home to use his. Kayla had fun pulling Parker around until she almost tipped him over in his sled and it scared him so I pulled him around. His head kept bobbing up and down...he was comfortable...and ready for a nap.

Time has past

I know I'm bad at updating my blog, but these last few weeks have been busy and not enough time in a day it seems. Brian was sick for 2 weeks and then Parker ended up with it. Last week he held onto a fever from Wednesday night until Saturday morning, but also gave me my first experience with vomit from him! I finally got him to sleep Wednesday night for a nap because he was so fussy so we rocked and rocked until he gave up. Well about half hour later he woke up threw up on me and him and fell back to sleep. Ok great what do I do now.... we are covered with stench but he's sleeping.... needless to say we both got changed and he fell back to sleep with me on the couch. No more of that thankfully. Just a fever. I can handle that. Now he just has the cough again. Either the teeth have to come in or winter has to end, so I can sleep again through out the night! We are doing better though. Brian loves his new job and is doing great. Pray that the house sells...Our next adventure is to start looking for an area that we want to live in that isn't too far for him to drive, good school district, but not too far away from mom and dad. We are just taking one day at a time.

Learning young

I have to tell you I am proud of the chores that I am trying to teach Parker now. I don't know if you would necessarily call them chores, but helping mommy. He is just 12 1/2 months old and after he gets his diaper changes he picks it up and throws it in the trash without me saying anything and when we change clothes he puts he dirty ones in the hamper. You definatley have to say that kids learn what they see if it's a consistant habbit. He is such a good boy when he's tired he goes to the door for upstairs and knocks on it,climbs up the stairs and heads right for his bed. Not a peep, goes right to sleep. If we are playing and he starts to whine and I know it's nap time all I have to say are you ready for nap or bed and he darts for the stairs! I never imagined that I would love being a mommy sooo much. I wouldn't ever replace it in this world. One thing that I don't like right now though is that loves his bed and won't fall asleep with me on the couch anymore. I miss that!

Chuckie Cheese

I am taking a long time updating my blog because I've been busy. Brian started a new job in Battle Creek, so things have been crazy the last couple of weeks. We are selling our house and looking to move closer so it's not such a drive. Right now he's been staying at his moms or sisters during the week. He is much happier there which makes for a happier wife too! Steph just posted some pics from when her and I took the boys to Chuckie Cheese on Parkers B-day. Him and I went up and spent a few days with them since I hadn't been up there since memorial day last year when we had the garage sale. I felt like a bad aunt. Fortunately she had been down here many, many times. The kids had a blast and Liv enjoyed sharing her room with Parker and I until I kicked her out of bed cause she was keeping me up due to her cough. Hope all are doing well and I will try and update some more soon when things calm down.

Aunt Stephanie bought him a birthday prince cup with a straw that he loves. That was his first time drinking out of a straw and is a pro at it now.
