Wedding

I just have a few pics from our friends Jon & Tara's wedding that Brian, Kayla and I were in almost a month ago. It was fun, but hard because we didn't get to spend much time with them while they were home for the wedding, they moved to Texas in January. I miss hanging out with them and seeing my Kenz (Mackenzie is our god daughter).

First day of school

Kayla's first day of school is today. She was a little nervous with it being a new school this year. She thinks it's pretty cool that she is going to the same school that I did. She will be getting on the bus at 7:25am, yes that's right..WOW.. So that means I have to get up at 6:45...WOW.. She wanted to ride the bus today as long as I met her at school when she got off the bus to take her to her classroom. I stood at the end of the drive with her and explained to her where she needed to stand so the bus driver could see her, but had to stay back from the road. I seemed weird I have to tell ya to be standing out there with her at the bus stop. It made me stop and think about how much her and I cherish each other. How much she has taught me as a person and how much I have taught her as a little girl. Anyway I don't want to start crying again....Parker and I got there about 10 minutes before she did. I saw her before she saw me, she was looking around and looking worried because she didn't see me. She lite up as soon as she saw Parker and I. I got teary eyed, it made me feel so special. I can't believe how much she has grown physically and mentally in the last 5 years. She has become such a good girl and pray that she will continue her growth in the right path. I am so proud of her and love her so much.

Grandpa Randy & Grandma Judy

Brian's dad came up from Illinois a couple weekends ago, we all got together at his sister Angie's. Unfortunatley Kayla was at her mom's so she couldn't see them. Bummer.... Parker always has a good time with the kids especially Dillion who is a month older than him. Brice got some new golf clubs so Parker was checking them out.
We had a great time with them and hope to see them again at Christmas if not before.

Mama's boy

I just can't get enough of him....I love Parker with all my heart. He is my sunshine of every day.

Sun glasses

Parker is always complaining in the car that it is too bite (bright) and covers his eyes, so we went to the store before we went out to the camp ground and got him some sun glasses. I thought they would be broken before the end of the day. But they weren't and he wore them most of the time too. If he isn't cute I'm not sure what cute is...

Water slide

At the camp ground they had a water slide in the lake. The kids loved it. Kayla is a fish now and absolutely loves being in the water. Two summers ago you could hardly get her in the water and now you can't get her out. She finally believes in the life jacket. She is starting to swim under water now. Parker went down the slide too several times with Papa catching him at the bottom. He loved it!

He didn't want to wait and put his swim trunks on...

I finally got him to change out of his shorts and put his swim trunks on, but forgot the shorts so he just had to wear the swim diaper...

Campground

Mom and dad have been camping for the last week, so the kids and I went out there on Sunday for church and dinner. We had a good time although mom was sick again and in bed the whole day. The kids had a good time in the water and playing with the other kids. Mom kept Kayla for the day on Thursday and had both of the kids on Friday while I was at work. They had a good time. Then it was Nana's time for quiet time.
