Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch with nana & papa last weekend while Brian was a work. It was fun. Had a good time watching Parker with all the animals and Kayla helping with the pig races. Parker wanted to go too, but mommy didn't want to do it so needless to say Nana took him for a walk to preoccupy him. It was a perfect day for it.

CRASH

Having your child get hurt is the hardest thing to accept...I know it's only begun because there will be many more crashes but OUCH!!!

Last night when we got home grandma & grandpa were out in the garage tagging things for the garage sale and Kayla found Kim's exercise mechinism (a bar on each side of a ball that helps you do push ups)that she is selling and was trying to do it well Parker thought he needed to try it too..needless to say I had my back turned to them.

He was up from 12:30am to 3:30am last night crying and uncomfortable. Nothing helped so we let the tylenol help. Fortunatley he didn't chip his teeth. This morning he nose is a little black and blue and his lip is all scrapped up and a fat lip. I felt horrible, but I am reminded that he is learning and trying everything he sees and it won't be the last time.....

I was finally lucky and found this car at a garage sale. He loves it, always going bye~bye!

Kayla's birthday

I know I'm a little behind. Here are some pics of Kayla's birthday party. She commented so many times that she had the best birthday this year. This is also the first year that she has had school on her day! She was telling us about her day, Parker and I brought cupcakes to her class, at the end of the day she thinks that she is popular.... already it has started.

The past couple of years we go together and order her cake. She loves having the freedom of making "important" decisions.

Absolutely loves the glitter jeans that Aunt Angie picked out!!!

Baby doll from Nana & Papa to replace the one that got damaged during the move. She bought some clothes and diaper bag things for her with her money from Grandpa & Grandma Johnson.

New CD alarm clock for her room...

The group: cousins~Tori, Brice and Dillion. Friends Emma, Ali and Madison and of course Parker. Olivia and Alex had to leave Saturday night so we had a little party for her with them on Saturday.

Frontier Days

We made it to the annual frontier days parade. Steph and the kids came down for the weekend, grandpa and grandma Rood, Kristi, mom and dad and the kids and I. We had a great time. Mom and dad and Steph took the girls to the rodeo Friday night while Brian and I kept the boys, didn't want to tackle that one. The girls had a blast together as always and took advantage of the time with each other since it had been a while. Kayla seems to be a her moms lately when they are home, so we try to make sure it happens as much as possible. The boys loved the parade with all the horses although Parker kept moooing at the horses. We took them down to the petting zoo that they had at the fairground so they had a chance to see more animals. I'm glad that we have tried to keep up the tradition of going each year, it will give the kids something to remember doing as a family while they were growing up like we remember going with grandpa and grandma Rood every year. Great times!!!!

Papa taking Parker for a walk before the parade starts...

Livy Lou getting a close up. I was touched, she let me pull out her second tooth!!

Big boy bed

Well the next step has been completed successfully! Parker has been in a toddler bed for a week now and loves it. He hasn't fallen out either. I didn't know if he was going to be ready for it or not, but we thought why not try. The first day we put it up he showed everyone proudly. Aunt "E" got in it with him he thought that was cool, they just giggled. I am having a harder time with it because he's getting too big too fast all these things of growing up happen so quickly. His new thing is putting 2 and 3 word together...mama mear down (mama come here and sit down) and papa/nana erkin (workin) and of course his new words of the week are MINE and DON'T!!! We use time outs whenever needed and he goes to his rug when you tell him. He is a great boy and getting bigger and bigger.

Bachlorette Party

I went to the bachlorette party the weekend before. I had a good time seeing Steph and Jami too. I think that was the first time that I went "out" by myself since Parker was born. Tara did drag me out once or twice while being pregnant.
